iAMECS Emergency Notification System (iENS) When there's a problem on campus, your students need accurate information quickly! Get the word out fast with iENS. Send emergency cell phone text messages or email to everyone in a residence hall, members of a group, or the entire university. iENS is an add on component to our powerful iAMECS One Card System. Using information from the iAMECS database, your students will get the message fast, minimizing response time and confusion caused by word of mouth communication. iENS can also be used to send messages to individual students; giving you a convenient, easy way to contact them. Because iENS can use email as well as text messaging, it can be used to keep students up to date with campus (non-emergency) events. Use the email feature to inform students of upcoming events or important changes to campus policy.
