This Changes Everything Campus Center, developed by NVN, is changing the way colleges and universities operate, drastically cutting administrative costs while improving service to students. Campus Center uses the Internet or your Intranet and is accessed through any www browser. Students can view account balances, transaction history, and transfer funds between accounts. Parents can add funds to the account instantly, using any major credit card over a secure connection. Parents also have a separate account that cannot be accessed by the student. The parent can move funds from their account to an active account at any time. If funds are moved from the parent account or deposited with a credit card, the parent is notified by e-mail automatically. Campus Shopping Campus Shopping is a totally new and unique solution to managing retail, bookstore and food service operations both on and off campus. Orders are placed over the Internet or college network and paid for using your All Campus Card or a credit card. The orders are then emailed or faxed to the vendor eliminating costly hardware and training costs at the vendor site. Campus Shopping is about to revolutionize the way your bookstore operates. Say goodbye to long lines, frustrated students and stressed out bookstore employees. Since the orders are placed and paid for in advance, students need only stop by to pick up their books. Books can be pulled in advance and set aside until the student arrives. Faxed orders can contain a barcode of the SKU (Stock Keeping Unit) or the UPC barcode for the product. This allows you to scan the item into your POS or inventory system. Interfaces can also be built to allow the product movement information to be automatically entered into inventory systems. Collect Fines Online Students can view any outstanding fines and pay for them online using their declining balance accounts. Place Your Card On Hold Off campus and you realize you left your ID card in your room. Simply log onto Campus Center and place you card on hold. Now even if someone finds your card IAS stops it from working. Re-issue Lost Cards From Campus Center With Campus Center, re-issuing a lost card is as easy as point and click. The re-issue is immediate, and the card prints automatically in the card production office. Since Campus Center can be used on the Internet, the re-issue can be made from a students home. Box Office Event Manager The Box Office event manager removes the labor involved in managing ticket sales and events. Box Office shows all information about an event, including tickets sold and tickets available. You can buy tickets or reserve seats directly from Campus Center. Funds can be deducted from any declining balance account. Ticket sales are passed instantly to the iAmecs All Campus Card System. A student can purchase a ticket and go immediately to the event. Box Office is so sophisticated that it even removes the event from the list automatically when the event ends. Sell Advertising Space on Campus Center Advertising is a major part of Campus Center. Most informational pages allow you to place a graphic and link at the bottom of the page. Now you can advertise your events or sell the ads to outside companies or contracters. The Advertising manager even allows you to set a date when the advertisment or advertising contract expires. The advertisment is dropped from Campus Center automatically when it expires. Select Meal Plans Online With Campus Center, there is no longer any need to print brochures describing your meal plans. Meal plans can be viewed, and selected from any Internet location. Issue Parking Permits Online With Campus Center, there is no longer any need to stand in line for parking permits. They can be issued from any Internet location. Campus Center Map Campus Center's map is like no other. With Campus Center you simply describe the locations of buildings on your current campus map and CC automatically builds an image map for your college. Simply click on a building and up pops the description and photos. The map can also show live pictures (updated every minute). With Campus Center it's easy to provide live shots from anywhere on campus. Point a camera on the line in your cafeteria and this will quickly become the most valuable feature in CC. Voting We've taken all the work out of college voting. With Campus Center it's easy to manage complex voting situations involving an unlimited number of specialized groups. Votes can be multiple choice or Yes/No, and since the actual tally is constantly displayed for each vote, there is really no need to post results. Student can watch the voting as it happens from any network computer. Campus Center even allows you to set a link to Who's Who, (described next) allowing a student to view a bio of an unfamiliar candidate. Who's Who on Campus Who's Who is a powerful directory of everyone on campus; students, faculty, and staff. Who's Who contains name, major or department, e-mail address and biographical information. You can even include your picture! The owner of the information can edit any part of the entry at any time. They can also choose to have their picture displayed and can delete themselves completely from Who's Who at any time. Who's Who has a powerful search engine that allows you to search for someone using any field. Who's Who entries can also be tied into campus voting (see above). Once you have found the person you are searching for, one click sends an email. Pay Fees On-line With Campus Center you can easily organize and control all kinds of fees that students must purchase.
