The SurePOS 500 The SurePOS 500 Point of Sale Terminal is a fully functional computer built upon a Windows XP operating system. The terminal is completely capable of being included in the domain and has full networking capabilities. The SurePOS 500 program can be modified to run not only on the terminal, but also on any Windows computer to allow for easy menu programming. NuVision Networks is the only One Card System that is approved to supply the IBM series of Point of Sale hardware. IBM's SurePOS 500 Point of Sale terminal is coupled to our iAMECS POS software to provide the most reliable and innovative POS system in the industry. UNLIMITED MENU OPTIONS iAMECS Advanced uses menu screens that provide maximum flexibility. A menu consists of six screens, each with up to 48 selection buttons for a total of up to 288 selection per menu. Screens can be segregated by item type such as beverage, deserts, main courses, breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc. Individual buttons can be color keyed by selection or type. Selected buttons can automatically print out on kitchen printers or multi station bump bars. There is no limit to the number of menus that can be on the system. VERSATILITY Unlike most other POS systems, the IBM SurePOS500 system needs no intermediate server. All IBM POS's connect directly to the main iAMECS server via your network backbone. Not only is there a substantial savings in POS server costs, it also means that the POS can be moved anywhere on the network. SECURITY iAMECS Advanced communication is TCP/IP across the network using AES 256 bit encryption plus NuVision Security Protocols. For added convenience and security, the IBM SurePOS 500 displays the cardholder's video image that is stored in the main database, along with the name and account number. For higher dollar transactions, this allows operators to confirm that the customer is in fact the cardholder. For lower dollar transactions or food service operations, it allows the operator to more personalize the transaction or call back the cardholder for food that requires preparation.
